Description: The Sitka National Historical Park is one of my most favorite places to visit. With towering spruce and hemlock trees, and Tlingit and Haida totems tucked along the trail, it's easy to feel the history of this place. I always start my visit gazing up at the Cenntenial Pole before heading into the woods. On this day the clouds were just starting to break, and I stopped to catch the contrast of clouds, forest and the totem agains the sky.
