"Yarn-bombing" is a new form of street art that is sweeping the nation. Knitters and crocheters create colorful cozies and use them to decorate everything from trees to cars. One such woman in Sitka, Alaska has taken it upon herself to beautify her hometown.
"A knitting enthusiast in southeast Alaska is yarn-bombing her seaside community by wrapping public poles in knitted casings, sort of like a small-town Christo let loose with doilies."
