Description:
I watched and photographed this Juvenile Great Blue Heron for a few hours from a small Livingston Dingy. I had camera on tripod, holding it secure between my legs while shooting with my right hand. With my left hand on an oar using it as a stabilizer to keep the boat as steady as possable. The Heron a had been preening in feathers for quit sometime when he made this awkward gesture where he appears to be choking; although he didn't make a sound.
