Description:
I watched, mesmerized, as several large bears caught spawning salmon at Brooks Falls. As much as I admired the fishing skill of the bears I began to feel pangs of regret for the salmon: they traveled for so many miles against so many adversities only to be caught by these apex predators so close to their spawning grounds!
