Description:
While spending five days camping near Brooks Falls, I was hoping to see my first brown bear in the wild. The rumors were true, and Katmai didn't disappoint. This place is famous for a reason and well worth the trip. In this scenario, the sow on the right was sending a message to an aggressive male in an attempt to protect her young.
